Parameters

In the Parameter settings section, it is possible to configure custom URL parameters to be used in reports and traffic campaigns. The section has two tabs.

• String Parameters, which shows system-level and custom string parameters.

• Numeric Parameters, which displays parameters whose accepted values include numbers only.

Info

It is not possible to modify system-level parameters.

Tip

Among other purposes, custom URL parameters can be used to perform the following actions.

• Track external click IDs via Eversend

• Insert external click IDs into campaign templates

To create a new parameter in the currently active tab, press ‘Add user parameter’.

The parameter will appear in the ‘User Parameters’ block. Change its name and description as needed. Then, click on ‘Save changes’ to apply these modifications.

When setting up a campaign, parameters from the Parameter settings section will appear in the ‘URL Query Parameters’ block.

Deleting a parameter

To delete one parameter, click on the ‘Remove’ button to the right of its description.

To delete several parameters, select them individually or select the entire ‘User Parameters’ block. Afterward, click on ‘Delete selected’ in the actions bar.
